Core Standards for guardians
of separated children in Europe

The SCEP Network endorses the ten Core Standards for guardians of separated children

10 April 2014

The Separated Children in Europe Programme (SCEP) endorses the ten Core Standards for guardians of separated children in Europe. The Core Standards were developed with the input of the SCEP Network and a majority of SCEP project partners. The objective of SCEP is that every separated child in Europe has a qualified an impartial guardian who ensures the best interest of the child. SCEP believes the ten Core Standards and indicators should empower all guardians in Europe to work towards common goals and it should inspire State authorities to offer the guardian the work environment and mandates needed.
